Since we moved to Vermont Leo has transformed his personality from Costa Rican surfer dude to a mountain explorer and Zosia is his sidekick all the way.
Kids wake us up every morning so we can see "another" amazing sunrise...but I can't blame them. One morning we saw a moose strolling through our front yard, it would have been a pity to miss that.
We rented this house while still in Poland, sight unseen, crazy you may think, so we were a little nervous of what we may find at the location. But once again we were lucky. The house is huge with modern feel, concrete floors, huge kitchen plus on sunny days we are off the grid. The green roof over the porch is the view from my bedrooms window.
We exchanged 12 pack of Sierra Nevada beer for 4 chickens, kids have fun getting eggs everyday.
The entire month of September kids spent afternoons swimming in the pond, watching frogs and dragonflies. For the first few weeks we had no internet, no cell connection and no tv so we watched the clouds roll by happy to unwind from living in busy city in Poland. Now we have internet, no cell service and no TV just how we like it - quiet.
